Who Is Behind highlevel.ai?

My name is Josh Miller. In 2018 I was running a high-volume real estate acquisition operation and needed enterprise-grade marketing infrastructure — so I built it. Custom SMS systems, email automation, data pipelines, backend integrations — the kind of stack that costs serious money to develop and maintain.

When I encountered GoHighLevel, I saw an opportunity to collaborate rather than compete. I worked directly with co-founders Shaun Clark and Varun Vairavan to develop capabilities that became core features of the platform — including one-off manual SMS, the Power Dialer, and several others. Features that tens of thousands of GoHighLevel users rely on today.

By 2020 I had moved on from real estate investing and into other ventures. GoHighLevel moved with me. I currently use the platform across multiple businesses I own and operate, and hold a SaaS Pro account — the platform's highest tier.
